Rich not to lose riches,
poor to become rich,
healthy not to fall sick,
sick to get healthy,
people pray for various reasons, but rarely we find
one who prays just to enjoy
the process of praying.

we would be able to achieve, stabilise and enjoy the benefits of yogic state
when subtle differences between yogic exercises and acrobatics is clearly understood and followed.

The more we try to impress, the less the others get impressed
The more we explain, the less the others grasp
The more we try to convince, the less others get convinced.
Others would get automatically impressed, convinced or motivated if our conversation consists of rationale/pragmatic thoughts, simple ideas on living, based on personal experiences.

A newly born child starts suckling.
As the child grows begins to turn from side to side or turn itself onto dorsal side, try to balance to stand on feet etc. The child learns on its own. Genetic programme facilitates. None teaches; nor can.
Extending the analogy, the word ‘teach’ seems to be extraneous, redundant, superfluous.
As we grow we demand that we be taught. Can any one teach. Help or assistance can be rendered, things can be provided, methods demonstrated. Motivation may work only when there is that inner urge to learn by the individual. As such one should first learn ‘how to learn’
Don’t ask what one should do to learn ‘how to learn’ None can teach that.

Wouldn’t it be good for the society if beneficiaries, apart from being grateful also imbibe the qualities of empathy, humility, generosity etc from the benefactors and be benevolent

Money, name and fame elude those who work hard but hardly love work.

Money reflects productivity of a person, the way he is utilising his potentials, opportunities and time. It also is an indicator of his determination and discipline.

Having possessions or close relationships does not convey ‘attachment’ but possessiveness towards them does. ‘Detachment’ is embodied not by abandonment or abstinence but by having a non-possessive outlook and approach in life.

Religious rituals might lead a person to spirituality but rituals in themselves are not spiritual. The same is true with yogic exercises and meditation

When our desires claim,
We want bells to chime.
However much we nurture
Fruits are borne as per nature.
